The Concordia Seminary Chorus, St. Louis, Mo., announces its 2003 Advent Tour. The Rev. Henry V. Gerike is the director of the choir. The Concordia Seminary Chorus will present a service of congregational hymns, readings and settings of psalms and spiritual songs for the season of Advent on the following dates:
December 7, at 7:00 p.m. – The Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri
December 10, at 7:00 p.m. – Timothy Lutheran Church, St. Louis, Missouri
December 12, 2003, at 7:30 p.m. – St. Peter Lutheran Church, Arlington Heights, Illinois
December 13, at 7:00 p.m. – Advent Lutheran Church, Zionsville, Indiana
December 14, at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. – Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Indianapolis, Indiana
December 14, at 4:00 p.m. – Grace Lutheran Church, Paris, Illinois
The touring choir of the Concordia Seminary Chorus consists of students who are preparing to become pastors in The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. They represent a portion of the full Concordia Seminary Chorus.
