Interested in attending Concordia Seminary or know someone who is? Spread the word about Contemplate [1], a visitation event that gives prospective students an opportunity to learn about life at the Seminary in St. Louis. This free event for people who are college-age and older and would like to learn more about preparation that leads to service as a pastor or deaconess will be held Sept. 20-21.
Contemplate attendees will engage in sessions that focus on the spiritual and personal aspects of the decision-making process of becoming a seminarian, as well as learn about the academic programs, field education, vicarage or internship year, financial aid, housing and the enrollment process. The event coincides with the 2022 Theological Symposium [2] to give participants the added bonus of attending symposium plenaries and events.
“While discerning whether to attend Seminary, a visit to our campus and experiencing Seminary life is so important,” said Director of Recruitment Rev. Micah Glenn [3]. “It’s our hope that Contemplate will provide that needed opportunity for participants to further discern whether Concordia Seminary — and a call to ministry — is part of their future.”
