Seminary graduates honored for theological writing

Concordia Publishing House (CPH) has recognized six graduating students from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis with the 2025 CPH Awards for exemplary theological writing.

Presented annually by CPH and based on Concordia Seminary faculty recommendations, the awards highlight outstanding student work across theological disciplines.

“At CPH we are grateful for our partnership with Concordia Seminary, and we look forward to seeing how these students will bless the church as they begin their service in ministry,” said Jonathan Schultz, president and CEO of CPH.

Dr. Timothy Saleska [1], dean of Ministerial Formation, notified the recipients May 14.

“I am very thankful for the generosity of CPH in granting these awards, and it is my pleasure to distribute them on behalf of CPH,” Saleska said. “When I handed the envelope containing the award to each student, they were pleased and honored by the gift. They all are excellent students and will make wonderful pastors. Thanks again to CPH for honoring our students in this way.”
